Wendy Matthews of the East Auckland Support Group has organised a petition calling on all members of the New Zealand Parliament to support the needs of all ME/CFS and FM sufferers and to:










1.      Establish dedicated research, assessment, treatment and respite care facilities.

2.      Provide support and funding for patients and carers.

3.      Promote education for both health professionals and the public, thereby rectifying the misunderstanding that many with these illnesses are experiencing, due to the lack of appropriate information regarding the cause and treatment of these illnesses.

4.       Rectify the misconception that these are psychological illnesses and to acknowledge and validate, the enormous physical and emotional suffering of those afflicted with them.

What do you have to do?

2.       In the appropriate columns:- write your name, add your signature and telephone number .

3.       Get as many other family members, friends etc as possible to sign up.
